I am an integrated therapist based in Whitehorse. Through my work with suicide education I've been fortunate to travel throughout Yukon Territory, and have provided services to nearly all of the communities. I have experience working with teenagers, adults, elders, families, and couples - all folks who are looking to improve their mental wellness and make positive changes. I want clients to have success in therapy and believe while people can be guided to new strategies and ways of approaching challenges, each person is ultimately an expert on what will help them succeed.
I believe in meeting folks where they're at in their lives - however, and whatever that means for them. I work primarily from a narrative and humanistic lens, with my practice rooted in harm reduction philosophy. I believe it's important to broach difficult topics openly, and to balance confidence and competence with challenge in order to make change.
