I am SGfB registered counsellor. I work with young people 15+, with adults and with couples. I see clients struggling with depression/anxiety and addiction as well as with those who desire change or growth.
My specialist interest is in ADHD, Autism spectrum. Psychosocial interventions play an important role in treating ADHD in adulthood, even though it is neurobiologically based. Distractibility, disorganisation or task procrastination may be improved by setting specific goals in areas of organising, planning, adaptive thinking or anger management.
From my personal experience I understand that change is possibly the most challenging thing that we face. We love routines and patterns. It provides a level of comfort in our already busy lives. For those who already struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD or any mental health difficulties, even a small change may be just overwhelming.
