Hello, my name is Natassa, I am a California Marriage and Family Associate Therapist, meaning I am qualified to work with people of all ages regarding concerns around important relationships, life changes, stress, anxiety, trauma, and depression. I enjoy helping people to learn how to connect to themselves, others, and their values, but also to understand together the story of their past while creating hope for the future. I am passionate about supporting people to adjust their thinking/perspective, to learn ways of soothing and caring for themselves in moments of distress, and to find courage and joy in their relationships.
I am an integrative counselor, so I draw from a variety of orientations and interventions as my understanding of my client grows. I tend to offer a mixture of CBT, relaxation and coping skills, compassion focused interventions, writing/art exercises, guided imagery, psychoeducation.
We live in a strange, beautiful, troubled world, and there is no reason to live through it feeling alone, keeping your story to yourself, distressed and confused.
