I am a UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist and EAC accredited counsellor and work with individuals seeking support for a wide variety of reasons. Perhaps to cope with moments of crisis or to improve relationships, or in order to deal with very specific issues. We might be able to manage certain areas of our lives well but for others we feel unprepared or unskilled for. This can result in tension, unhappiness and a sense of failure. Together we gain an understanding of your current situation and the circumstances that have led up to it. In this process I can help you to make sense of emotions, thoughts and behaviours.
I offer counselling to individuals and couples in English, German and Swiss German. My way of working is collaboratively and I strongly believe that trust and the right ‘chemistry’ between counsellor and client are essential to explore openly and freely challenging and sometimes very painful aspects of life.
My aim is to create a safe and non-judgmental space, which can help you to gain more self-awareness and the ability to heal or change if necessary. A greater understanding of ourselves and others enables us to have a choice in how we communicate and relate, as well as to feel more empowered and often less overwhelmed.
