You are not obliged to commit yourself to any session other than the one you have booked. Having a no obligation initial conversation allows you the space to make an informed decision in embarking on that first counselling session. I believe this to be a fundamental part of assessing if I may be the right Therapist for you.
Our work together will be developing a therapeutic relationship in which the client feels able to talk freely and tell me their truth. Being able to tell the truth allows outlining the fundamental nature of your problems, this is how we can work together to detangle what’s happening for you in a non-judgemental safe space.
I understand that a trusting relationship is key to working collaboratively with clients to explore past relationships and desired changes for the future.
