Together, we will explore the issues that have led you to seek therapy. Some off those who I have worked with have experienced loss. I understand that 'loss' can be a lonely journey, I am here to work alongside your grief, at your pace and exploring gently. Understanding that grief maybe doesn't have an 'ending', but is something that we learn live with, in possibility a different way of being from before. I work with all types of loss enabling those who I have worked with to be in a secure & safe space.
My core training is long term & deeper work, but can offer short term/solution focused depending on your clinical needs. I am a Diasporic African-man & have an understanding of how racism & cultural differences may have impacted. This enables me to approach the most challenging issues & trauma with empathy & kindness. Mindful this is your story and journey.
Offering a space for you to feel safe we can together untangle your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I work with you in the here and now, as well as inviting you to bring in the past- which has impacted on you. Together we can find a way forward that feels right for you, so you can become the person you want to be.
