Hi, I'm Gayle and I am an experienced CBT & EMDR therapist. I have worked with adults and young people (16+) for over 10 years in both NHS and private services. I work with a wide variety of common mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, social anxiety, phobias, health anxiety, and low self-esteem. I achieve excellent recovery rates for my clients because I strongly believe that therapy is not 'one size fits all' and I am passionate about using only highly proven, evidence-based treatment. My approach is to really listen to you and then work in partnership with you to ensure you achieve the change you want.
I have extensive training in CBT, gained from substantial BABCP-accredited university post-graduate courses. I gained my full diploma in CBT from the University of Oxford, achieving a distinction and qualifying in the top 5% of my year. I have full professional accreditation from the BABCP and am also trained in advanced EMDR for trauma-related problems.
