Hi, I'm Gill and as a Person-centred Counsellor, I hold the belief that we all have within ourselves the answers we seek. However, there are often times – especially when struggling with problems and difficult life events – that it can be hard to see a way forward. Whilst sharing worries with friends or family may be a valuable source of support, Talking Therapies can offer you the time and space to talk things through in a more open way and at a deeper level, helping you to gain new insight and view things differently, enabling you to let go of the past and allowing you to move forward.
It's important to find the right counsellor, someone who enables you to feel safe and relaxed; someone you feel you can connect with and has the skills, understanding and experience to help you gain the most from your sessions. To help you decide I offer a free 30 min initial meeting, where you can experience how it might be for us to work together.
I provide a safe, relaxed and confidential space to explore your worries and thoughts. We will work together, focusing on whatever you bring to the sessions in order to help you make sense of your difficulties. I am available for daytime appointments, Monday - Thursday.
