My aim is to offer a safe and welcoming space where I will accept you as you are and encourage you to explore your own unique life experiences, learn more about yourself and what you want and need in your life. I know that it can be very hard to open up and talk about how we feel and my intention is to provide a space where that feels possible for you. I have many years of working in social care settings with young people and adults facing challenging situations in their lives prior to my retraining as therapist and I bring all this knowledge and experience to my therapeutic work too.
I am endlessly curious about people and have always enjoyed working with individuals who want to think about the issues that are affecting them. You won’t be judged or criticised and you will be accepted and supported to understand yourself more fully - in particular how all of your experiences shape how you feel about and interact within the world.
I offer an initial phone call where we can talk over what you are looking for and find out a little about how we might work together. Choosing a therapist can be a difficult decision and you may want to take some time to reflect on our conversation or you may choose to make a plan to meet for a session and take things from there.
