Considering counselling can seem daunting and I appreciate your strength and courage shown to reach my page. I believe if we are seen and heard and can express ourselves, we are well placed to enjoy good mental health, but this does not always come easily. I have experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, panic and confusion and when stressful life events impact our ability to cope. I can also support you if you have problems in relationships, loss of any kind, or coping with illness or pain. By working together we can explore your needs, deepen your self-awareness and ultimately progress towards healing and recovery.
I work with individuals aged 16+ and offer weekly sessions in person either short-term or open-ended. As an Integrative therapist, I draw upon various methods best suited to you. When words are difficult, we can work creatively together e.g. building your timeline can help identify your unique qualities and reveal connections between past and current events
The most important thing about therapy is the relationship and building trust between us. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can be your true self, without judgement. It is important that you find a therapist who is right for you. I warmly welcome you to contact me for an initial chat, to discuss your needs, and to see if we can work together.
