I have provided psychotherapy to clients for a variety of challenges including trauma, depression, anxiety, and family dynamics. I work with those struggling to overcome a situation, past or present, that is causing them to feel stagnate or disillusioned. I help people make new choices in their thinking and behaviour and better choices to improve resilience and health. Together, we explore ways that will help gain insight that leads to making adjustments for living more authentically and having healthier relationships.
I specialize in a blend of approaches that can effectively and appropriately treat traumatic stress. This includes Brainspotting, narrative, EMDR, cognitive behavioural, and body-based mindfulness techniques that strengthen relationships with self and others.
Seeking counselling is a brave thing. I work hard on my own healing experiences, personally, and believe that I can only take my clients as far as I've taken myself. Humility is one key to healing. So is experiencing new people, places, and things. I'll do my best to be someone who will sit with you in your process, but also challenge you to be courageous.
