I've spent over 20 years providing one-to-one psychotherapy and counselling psychology support to individuals of all ages, from teens to octogenarians, and everyone in between. Most people attend psychotherapy with a desire to experience relief from symptoms such as anxiety; depression; grief; stress; trauma; and uncertainty about the future. I have found that clients ultimately experience long-term relief and positive gains by developing a healthier relationship with themselves. Our goal: to help you pursue a simpler, pleasant, more content life.
I support clients through an extensive range of issues that can present across the life span including relationship issues; anxiety disorders (panic; generalized anxiety; OCD; health; phobia); Depression; Loss (bereavement; separation; caring for a partner with dementia); Trauma (Adult children of alcoholics; Adult survivors of childhood abuse)
I support both adults and adolescents become a healthier version of themselves through learning to identify self defeating thinking styles; and develop more compassionate self talk; assertive communication, and greater self esteem. The ethos of my practice is defined on being "inclusive, empathic, safe, and respectful"
