I specialise in relationship challenges, family issues, individual struggles, and mental health issues. My approach is warm and caring and I provide a safe space for you to tell your story. My work with couples, not only addresses the issues but includes reconnecting partners and to create your preferred relationship. Regardless of what you wish to achieve, we would focus on making meaningful changes and achieving your goals. I have extensive experience in supporting people from all walks of life and cultures.
I draw upon evidence-based practices in my work, including Narrative Therapy, Solution-focused and Cognitive Behavioural therapies, Mindfulness and The Couples Developmental Model. I am an NZAC supervisor, and I offer supervision to counsellors and student counsellors.
When we experience difficulties, we can feel stuck, and it can be really hard to see or remember one's strengths and positive attributes. Together we will rediscover these.
