Kia ora, I'm Paola. In therapy, change comes in waves and cycles, like with the tides. I provide my clients a safe and professional environment to navigate those therapeutic tides in the smoothest way possible. I bring to the therapeutic process competence, clarity and clinical discernment for the client to be able to dive safely in the deep waters of personal transformation. Clients report that they experience tangible results as enhanced self-esteem and trust, reduced severity of symptoms as anxiety, depression, grief or mental confusion, and the restoring of their capacity for secure, and organized relationships, among others.
I'm an Italian therapist and I offer supervision for professionals and trauma specialised therapy for adults and couples. I have worked as a psychologist and a psychotherapist during the last 20 years in six countries and in four languages. In NZ I offer my services as a registered Counsellor and an EMDR certified therapist.
I strive to approach the therapeutic work in a culturally competent manner and to create a strong therapeutic bond in which clients are emotionally validated and feel “seen” and appreciated. This is achieved through a deliberate, precise, and mindful intervention where mental, emotional, spiritual, and ethical dedication is shared with the clients
