I am a NZ Registered Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Paediatric Neuropsychologist. I work with children and families providing comprehensive psychological assessments and therapy. I support infants, children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, neurodevelopmental and parenting difficulties. Therapy is guided by research and evidence-based treatments. I have worked in community and hospital settings, including Starship, and have a particular interest in working with children with acute and chronic health conditions.
I also specialise in Paediatric Neuropsychology with expertise in working with young people who have acquired brain injuries, neurological, medical, or neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or cognitive and learning difficulties. As part of this I provide neuropsychological assessments to help better understand the difficulties some of these children experience.
I am based in Te Tai Tokerau, and predominantly travel between Whangarei and Kaitaia for face-to-face therapy, or, if deemed appropriate, I am also able to provide online teletherapy. I only have very limited capacity to take on new referrals at present, but please do get in touch so that we can discuss my availability and suitability to fit your needs.
