I've been working with children, adolescents, and families for 25 years. As a parent myself, I'm familiar with the growing pains of raising a family. Each new day can be an adventure, whether we want it to be or not. I can assist you as you navigate the ups and downs of family life and parenting. I believe it's 'easier to build a child than to repair an adult.' Building a resilient, happy child begins at birth. Fostering resilience in your children through effective parenting and a supportive "village" is a gift they will have the rest of their lives.

What each believes is true; otherwise, we would't believe it. Yet, we are many. Learning to live happily with this ambivalence is possible, and highly satisfactory. Learn to share that perfection with other perfections. Learn to love the flaws, because this is what make each of us perfect!

This is a group for female-identified individuals who have experienced (one or many) traumatic events and are experiencing PTSD and other depressive/anxious symptoms as a result. The group will use cognitive skills to understand and change the negative thoughts you have had since the traumatic event. We will teach you new ways of processing and coping with the trauma. During this group, you will NOT be discussing the details of your trauma.

I offer short term, evidence-based treatment for trauma (Cognitive Processing Treatment - CPT) and anxiety disorders, specifically OCD, rumination, and phobias (Exposure and Response Prevention - ERP). When we have experienced difficult or traumatic events, those experiences can create beliefs about ourselves, our lives, and our potential for healing that can get stuck and hold us back from the changes we need to make. I believe that your approach to things can be different as you can learn feel confident trusting in yourself. When negative thoughts arise, they won’t feel like the absolute truth and you can rebuild your life.

Struggling with life transitions and your emotions is difficult but finding relief and gaining emotional balance doesn't have to be. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, depleted, or depressed about the many compounding issues in your life and are wanting to feel some relief, I'll help you address the issues in your life to help shed light on the areas you are seeking wellness. In today's society, we are constantly being pulled in multiple directions and being told that we can "have it all", but we often find that to "have it all" we must sacrifice too much. You're not alone in these feelings.

Relationship issues arise from different aspects of our lives at home and at work. Are you a couple wanting to clarify your relationship? Or a single person longing for more connection? Do you work with difficult people or have trouble relating to those who think differently? The first step is increased self-knowledge. Disagreements may stem from loss of trust, unbalanced time commitments, or communication upsets. When personality dynamics are considered, we find resolution. Do you struggle with intimacy issues or sexual problems? We can work toward long term results using an effective mind/body/spiritual/emotional approach.

We are all looking for love. Authentic self love takes time, attention and oftentimes help.  Looking for it outside of yourself is exhausting, demoralizing and depressing. Believing that there must be something wrong with you is isolating and terrible for the self esteem required for a healthy relationship. You are tired of feeling like a beggar, when you know you have so much to give. You know you are amazing and are at loss as to how to get what you need and want in a partner. You’d like a relationship with mutual love, respect and deep connection. You would also like to feel great about yourself in the context of a relationship
