I'm thrilled to announce my recent graduation from Vanderbilt University, where I refined my nursing skills and passion. With a focus on supporting individuals across the lifespan, I bring rich experience in assisting those with eating disorders, complex trauma, anxiety, and substance use disorders. My journey to becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner is driven by my deep love for listening to people's stories and my genuine desire to be part of their transformative process. Crafting personalized treatment plans, I blend medication management with therapy techniques, rooted in meeting each person's unique needs.
I've undergone specialized training with the Trauma Resource Institute in the Trauma Resiliency Model, a somatic-based therapy that equips individuals with simple techniques to calm their nervous systems following trauma or stress. Additionally, I bring experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to further support my clients.
Beyond work, I like expressing my creativity through art, exploring new destinations with my 11-year-old daughter, and savoring quiet moments in nature alongside my beloved companions, Kitana the cat and Ruby the dog. I'm genuinely eager to connect with individuals and offer compassionate, personalized care as they navigate their path towards wellness.
