Bradley Why is a Doctor of Nursing and is Board Certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. Bancroft Behavioral Health provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and medication management. Our approach to each potential client is personalized, collaborative and family centered. Dr. Why expertly treats mental health problems with conservative and appropriate medication choices and in close collaboration with each client and their therapist.
Dr. Why has been treating child, adolescent and adult behavioral problems for 20 years. He has extensive medication expertise in the treatment of attachment disorders, attention and concentration problems, aggression, anxiety, mood and thought disorders. Dr. Why does not treat adults for ADD or ADHD.
Patient centered approach - personalized treatment with a focus on patient and family dynamics - Strong opinion that outcomes in therapy outweigh medication alone, however when appropriate, medication as an adjunct to therapy can be greatly beneficial. Options for treatment are suggested with the patient regarded as the decision maker.
