I recognize how difficult it is to find someone both knowledgeable about medications used to treat mental health concerns and who is a down to earth, real person at the same time. My clients have told me that I am easy to talk to and provide good clinical insight. I provide medication management services for women 18 and over for a variety of mental health concerns including adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD/ADD, insomnia, OCD, PTSD, PMDD, perinatal mood disorders, mood disorders in menopause, compulsive over-eating, and binge eating disorder.
My passion has always been with treating women's issues for women in all phases of life. My experience includes providing midwifery services and obstetrical care within a variety of OBGYN practices and family practice care settings. Most recently, I have provided services for women with substance misuse disorders, chronic pain and perinatal mood disorders.
I recognize how important it is to take into account women's hormonal changes, personal genetic history (I also offer GeneSight genetic testing) as well as medical and lifestyle factors into concern when making clinical decisions about which medications may be best.
