I see patients from 3 years to 60 years of age and I believe in treating the whole patient: body, mind and spirit. My approach is a combination of medication management, and individual therapy, frequently augmented with a support group. I support the team approach, working collaboratively with other therapists or health care professionals. Frequently treatment is augmented with 12-Step study. I am readily available to all of my patients by phone and you can expect to speak to me personally on most occasions. I received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and I served in the U.S. Army for six years. My medical degree is from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and I received diplomas in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry from the Menninger Clinic.
