Dr. Checo is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. She completed her psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA and a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Dr. Checo completed a fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
She provides psychiatric medication management for adults 30 years and older, and treats a range of conditions including mood disorders (such as depression, bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders (such as OCD, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, phobias), ADHD, trauma/post-traumatic stress disorder, and psychotic disorders.
