I love helping people move through different phases in their lives. It is gratifying to come alongside them on their journey toward healing. I enjoy helping improve mental health issues so the patient is able to focus on what matters the most.
I have been practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner doing various types of medication management and brief focused therapy for over 10 years now. It may be depression, anxiety, or another mood disorder but I use a team-based approach because I believe the patient must be as involved as I am in the medication decision making process.
