I have been a Nurse Practitioner since 2004. I am certified in Psychiatric services. My passion is for treating clients who are struggling with mental health concerns. My career has been focused mainly on the mental health field for the past 17 years. My career has allowed me to travel to various locations, including Utah and Wisconsin. My home is, however, in Hattiesburg. I understood the need for psychiatric services in this area, and I returned home to pursue my passion.

Welcome! My name is Colby Ponder and I am a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who provides medication management and brief talk therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults ages six and older in Mississippi. At Sound Mind Psychiatry, we offer in-person and telehealth services.
