I strive to develop personalized treatments that are designed to suit each person's lifestyle and strengthen self-awareness and resources for self-care. I have a clinical interest in integrative medicine in which the patient and provider are partners in the treatment process and all factors that influence health are taken into consideration. An integrative approach combines conventional medical and psychiatric diagnostic techniques and treatments with alternative strategies such as mindfulness therapy, supplements, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and other complementary approaches.

ADHD can run in families with symptoms that present as primarily inattentive, mostly hyperactive-impulsive, or a combination of both types of symptoms. Many other problems can present as ADHD, like sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, and certain types of learning disabilities. Sometimes, you can have co-occurring conditions that need to be evaluated and treated with medications.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed to diagnose and treat mental health conditions. I have experience helping patients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, ADHD, and other psychiatric issues. In my practice, I use psychiatric medication and complementary approaches such as lifestyle changes, nutrition, and mindfulness. My philosophy is to treat the whole person and prescribe medication thoughtfully, considering best practice along with patient preferences. I enjoy working together with clients to develop a plan of care that is tailored to their goals, unique strengths and life.

As a new grad and mom, I am very aware of how life can be very stressful and overwhelming. Life sometimes gets hard to process and get through just day to day. I became a nurse and a nurse practitioner to help people with times like these. I want to have people see that things can be better and will work with them in a safe, nonjudgmental space to allow them to find what they hope and dream of. My work is focused on helping you to be the best you that you can be.

I am a doctoral prepared, licensed, and double board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner (DNP, FNP-C PMHNP-BC). I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post Masters Certification in Psychiatric Mental Healthcare from Brandman University, Irvine California, Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University Minneapolis Minnesota, and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information systems from the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas.

I see adults, adolescents, and children ages six and older. My ideal client is someone who has had anxiety, panic attacks, irritability, anger management problems, depression, insomnia, loneliness, or suicidal thoughts. If you have fibromyalgia or memory problems sometimes there are ways to turn that around. I do medical screening to see whether there might be a medical issue that contributes to your psychiatric symptoms. Metabolism can be an issue and some might lose weight in treatment. If you are interested in medication-free treatment there are better options today.

I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, attention deficits, life transitions, or simply feel that they want to improve their mental health. My clients are looking for a mental health expert that they can collaborate with as they develop their own treatment goals, and are willing to be intentional in their pursuit of these goals.
