I enjoy helping patients and families navigate mental health issues and become as successful as they can be. Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Autism, ODD, OCD, Impulse-Control issues, postpartum depression, and eating disorders. I provide gender-affirming care.
I assist patients and families in improving their mental illness with medication management. I view mental health medications as a tool in the toolbox. When you build a house you never use one tool. You use many tools. I find that in order to achieve the best mental health outcome it is done alongside other modalities such as therapy.
I have a passion for helping patients and families because my family has been affected by mental illness. As a mother of a patient who has Autism, I am acutely aware of the effects not only on the patient but also on the family. My goal is to provide comprehensive care to the family as a family unit, not simply the patient.
