Do you feel that life is hard and not as satisfying as you would like it to be? Did you experience neglect or abuse as a child? Do you often feel sad, depressed, irritable, anxious, or blah? Do you lack confidence and worry about not being good enough? Is it difficult for you to trust people? Do you experience relationships as confusing, hurtful, or hard to manage? Do you sometimes cope by overeating, restricting, or using substances? These are common human problems that I have helped people overcome.
I offer skill in both psychotherapy and medication management. My perspective and approach is holistic and comprehensive, using a broad range of interventions that include medications, mindfulness, trauma work, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, DBT, CBT, psychodynamic approaches, and more.
You can trust that I will take time to learn about you as a whole person and will do a thorough evaluation. We will explore the physical, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, cultural, environmental, and relational dimensions of your life. Together, we will focus treatment to meet your life goals, even if all that you are interested in is medication.

The Mental Health Fitness Program
This is a comprehensive group program that teaches people how to take control of their experience through a basic understanding of the power of the mind and the ways we can positively direct our attention and thinking. Core practices include learning to calm the mind/body, focus attention, become fully present, observe without judgment, and act mindfully. The program integrates knowledge from medicine, psychology, cognitive science, physics, metaphysics, and other fields. It provides guidance about how to approach life with a greater understanding of life’s dynamics and how to embrace life with acceptance, compassion, and non-violence.
