I am a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with 22 years of experience treating kids and teens struggling with a variety of childhood disorders of thinking, feeling, & behavior. As a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel with 25 years of service I've had the opportunity to evaluate and treat children & teens from many parts of the country & world. One thing that remains true is that patients want to be heard and understood, regardless of age. I find this to be one of the most rewarding & privileged aspects of psychiatry. She completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. For her residency, she trained in general psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, where she served as the chief resident in her final year. She has over 13 years' experience as a nurse, working with clients with diverse cultures and backgrounds in the Philippines, England, and USA.

Dr. Jin is a double board-certified addiction psychiatrist at Modern Psychiatry Center. She specializes in medication management of various psychiatric conditions, such as depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, PTSD and ADHD. Her area of expertise lies in the treatment of substance use disorders, especially Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine. Dr. Jin offers only video appointments.
