As the owner of New Chapters Narrative Therapy, I believe everyone has a story worth telling, and I am here to listen. Along with experience treating a number of common concerns – anxiety, depression, existential crises, life transitions, self-esteem issues, stress, trauma – I specialize in helping clients navigate grief and loss. I also take pride in being a safe space for the LGBT+ community. Counseling should be a collaborative process, and together we’ll find the right approach to fit your needs, whether it be CBT, DBT-informed, expressive arts, mindfulness, narrative, etc.
The narrative approach tells us everyone is the expert on their life. In other words: you're the main character, and with that role comes unforeseen plot twists & turns, as well as the opportunity to edit out unhealthy habits, process past chapters, and start new ones. Remember: There’s power in embracing the unwritten story when you hold the pen.
