Accepting new clients! I provide affirming and trauma-informed care which conceptualizes individual mental health within a sociopolitical and cultural context. This is particularly important to understanding the experiences of individuals within invalidating and discriminatory environments. The impacts of minority-based stress and trauma cannot be addressed merely through changing your thinking. My aim is to help you develop coping skills, insight, and resiliency to thrive in our challenging world. As a queer therapist, I aspire to offer a safe space for LGBTQIA+ identity exploration. I specialize in PTSD and gender dysphoria.
I am an experienced trauma therapist with expertise in treating the impacts of sexual and interpersonal violence. I offer EMDR and CPT for PTSD and CBT and supportive therapy for present-centered coping and problem-solving. For trans individuals seeking gender-affirming care, I offer no-cost evaluations with referral letters meeting WPATH guidelines.
My clients describe me as authentic, empathic, honest, flexible, and collaborative.
