I have experience working with individuals and families (ages 5+) with all manners of mental health diagnosis and external stressors especially past and current traumatic experiences, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, life adjustments, anger management, and oppositional behaviors.
I operate from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model because I believe every aspect of a person’s identity is important to acknowledge during treatment. My approach to therapy is grounded in person centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, strengths based, and Gestalt. Ultimately, I operate in an eclectic style for what best serves the individual.
I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy between the therapist and individual to foster self-understanding, and self-acceptance. Trust and respect are core values of mine and I believe in fostering those in her therapeutic relationships. I seek to connect with clients in a way that they feel seen, heard, and respected.
