As a therapist my goal is to create the space for clients to feel safe and comfortable to begin their journey in healing. I believe the client is the driver and I am the one in the passenger seat pointing out the scenery and occasionally giving some direction. I support my clients from all walks of life with a non-judgmental attitude, full of support and kindness, with a little humor and some “realness” thrown in there I often utilize CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as a basis in our work, with my foundation and belief being client centered and knowing you are the expert in your life.
I strive to help clients work through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, family struggles, addictions and life changes with various modalities and tools such as EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, IFS and other modalities.
Therapy can be tough at first but hopefully as time goes on, therapy will prove to be eye opening, transforming, and uplifting. I am eager to go through this journey with you.
