My therapy style is holistic, meaning I work with clients from a safe space that promotes curiosity, exploration, and reflection. I value a collaborative approach in therapeutic relationships where clients and I work together. I believe therapy allows us to reflect on feelings in the here and now. I am EMDR trained and use an integrative approach to therapy. Additionally, I support that the mind and body are connected and that self-care is essential for mental health.
I have ten years of experience in the helping profession. Populations I have worked with include people involved in the criminal justice system, the LGBTQ+ community, survivors of abuse, people with disabilities, substance use, child issues, older adults, and college students. I have also worked with people from various cultural/spiritual backgrounds.
