Inevitably, we all encounter periods in our lives in which what we've learned to that point isn't sufficient for the challenges we now face. I believe therapy can be a safe, supportive environment in which to better understand ourselves and the world and to revisit what we want in life and how to get there. Whether you are dealing with significant anxiety or depression, or simply need a new environment to learn your way through new challenges with a helping eye and ear, I bring a humorous, creative, curious and open-minded approach to helping you progress through life's challenges.
My approach to mental health treatment is holistic, collaborative, and neurophysiologically (polyvagal) informed. I am trained in and use evidence-based treatment modalities such as EMDR, IFS, somatic experiencing, yoga, and mindfulness to shift and modify cognitions, physiological reactions, emotions, and help clients get "unstuck."
