As a therapist, one of my main goals is to cultivate an environment where clients feel safe, heard and respected. Because each individual is unique and on their own journey, I believe it is important to meet each client where they are at emotionally. There is great power in the vulnerability of the therapeutic experience and I work to develop both a helping and empathetic relationship with my clients. Together, we can work towards conquering the various experiences life has to throw at us!
I am fond of working with individuals of all ages and walks of life, and have specifically grown to enjoy that of the geriatric population and all that has to offer. By using a holistic and relational approach, I seek to incorporate my trainings to meet the needs of each individual client.
One of my favorite quotes by Lori Gottlieb states "therapy is about understanding the self that you are. But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself- to let go of limiting stories you've told yourself about who you are so you are not trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you've been telling yourself about your life".
