Maybe you're new to recovery, or finding your way back. Our therapeutic relationship gives you a soft place to land and a firm place to launch from. Where you see constant anxiety, relational stress, perfectionism, chronic dysregulation, and shame, I see opportunity for growth. My style is gentle but no-nonsense, and fosters your reflection, self-compassion, and resilience. My practice is DBT-informed with values firmly rooted in body neutrality and intuitive eating. I have 6+ years in the inpatient and PHP/IOP settings, making me intimately familiar with the journey you're on. I identify as queer, fat, with lived experience.
I view therapy as both developing insight and skill, sometimes circuitously. It's a process that I look forward to guiding you on. I want to see you embody your most authentic self, and at the very least walk beside you as we try to figure out who that is. Together we can cultivate hope, and watch that grow into real change.
