I provide assessment and treatment options for adults seeking assistance with mental health or medically-related concerns. My practice, Clinical & Forensic Neuropsychology Services of MS, specializes in the psychological and neuropsychological evaluation of cognitive, emotional, and psychological conditions in adults and older adults. I also provide outpatient psychotherapy for a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, adjustment to stressors (e.g., health decline, bereavement), and coping with chronic medical illnesses. Therapy treatment plans are individualized, based upon the best available research for treating a particular condition, and time-limited (typically 5-15 sessions).
I have advanced training in two specialty areas within psychology as I completed postdoctoral fellowships programs in both geropsychology (which focuses on issues in later life) and neuropsychology (which focuses on brain-behavior relationships). I am board-certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
