My ideal client would be someone struggling to manage their mental health and/or substance usage. They have a desire to rehabilitate by developing coping skills to help them better manage their emotions and concerns.
My specialty is working with the dual diagnosis population (mental health disorder + substance abuse disorder). I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ran a Dual IOP from 2015-2023, and am independently licensed as a chemical dependency clinical supervisor. I am also trained in psychometry, and assist a Neuropsychologist with assessments.
Working with those who struggle with mental health and addiction concerns is a true passion of mine. I truly believe there is nothing more rewarding than guiding someone on the path to recovery. I know it is hard to find hope when battling addictions, but I embrace the challenge and look forward to meeting you.
