You show up for people day in and day out; now is the time to learn how to show up and care for yourself with long-term and meaningful results. I love helping teens and adults learn to better manage their lives, emotions, and levels of distress as a result of trauma, depression, anxiety, people pleasing tendencies, and relationship concerns. In addition, coming from a Latino background, I understand that mental health is not customarily acknowledged and there is this added pressure. If this is your experience, my goal is to create a safe to learn about and heal from generational maladaptive influences and acculturation issues.
I believe in the importance of approaching therapy by way of holistic wellness and integrating the mind, body, and spirit. I use a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic techniques in order to cultivate personal resilience and self-confidence. There is no singular foolproof path to healing, so together, we will work to identify and meet your needs and wants.
