Throughout our lives, the events we experience distort, crack, and chip away at the lens through which we see the world. These distortions could be serious fissures and created by a single incident or they could be many minor chips created over years of toxic experience or chronic stress. Our views and the distortions in that lens inherently alter the way in which we interact with the world. My goal is to serve as a guide to help you heal and reshape that lens, thus improving overall wellbeing and interactions with the world.
Having traveled extensively in my 23 years in the military, I developed an appreciation for multicultural diversity and a trauma informed orientation; I bring these with me into my therapeutic approach. I am EMDR and Emotional Freedom trained with a focus on helping adults move through past events that continue to create negative experiences life.
