| español I am a bilingual Spanish and English Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults. As a parent myself, I understand that raising children can be challenging. When working with children I use play therapy to help children play out their experiences and feelings, and provide a means through which conflicts can be resolved and feelings can be communicated. When working with young children I use Child Parent Psychotherapy, and attachment therapy for infants through 5 years old who are showing mental health or behavioral problems.
Utilizing CPP to help families build strong, parent-child relationships and parents understand their children’s feelings and behavior. When working with teens and adults I use psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and solution focused approaches.
My goal is to provide support and feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges, and to assist clients and their families to work through various issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, family-related issues, major life transitions and trauma recovery.
