I am a Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice for nearly 30 years, with a breadth of experience working with individuals, couples and families. I work with those who are looking for change in their lives. I enjoy meeting with clients and helping them discover the peace and happiness they desire and deserve. Change is hard & takes courage to even admit we need to change. A person has to be willing take the risk to change in order to grow. That is when a person will benefit the most from therapy. I am a trained EMDR clinician. I am a CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist), and the Clinical Director of LifeStar Sacramento, (An Outpatient program for Sex Addiction). I am also Co-Director of LifeStyle Transformation, (An outpatient program for Compulsive Eating). I have lots of recovery experience!
My training in addiction recovery work has given me opportunities to become more proficient in working with trauma, (PTSD), attachment and grief and loss. I facilitate several groups besides working with individuals and couples. I am also available to speak on many topics related to relationships, addiction and trauma etc.
