I am a psychotherapist located in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC, offering individual, group, and couples therapy. I have a diverse practice and enjoy working with men and women to help them grow from within and improve the relationship they have with both themselves and others. Often, our sense of self is formed by our earliest relationships. In the therapeutic relationship, we can learn to cultivate a healthier, clearer sense of self. I create a warm, empathetic space where clients can learn to better understand themselves, let go of self-limiting beliefs, and build healthy coping mechanisms.
Prior to private practice, I worked in a variety of therapeutic settings with both adults and children of diverse backgrounds. I integrate different therapeutic modalities into my practice, taking each client's individual needs and circumstances into account. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I also co-lead psychotherapy groups.
Previously, I worked in communications and owned a public relations agency; experience that informs my unique understanding of work/life balance challenges. My interests include working with clients through anxiety, depression, career stress, co-dependency, relationship and family difficulties, identity issues, burnout, life transitions, grief and loss.

Groups
Psychotherapy Group for Adults
I run long-term interpersonal process groups for adults presenting with a range of issues, but with a common desire for healthier relationship patterns. The groups I run are experiential and oriented to here-and-now processing, which allows members to give and receive feedback on how they are experienced in relationships. Group psychotherapy is a powerful catalyst to long-term change and helps members feel a deep sense of connection and learn how to show up more authentically in their lives.
