Life offers both ordinary and unexpected challenges that may leave you struggling. Using a protective, nurturing and flexible approach, I draw from a range of techniques to support individuals, couples and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and loss. We will work together to explore beliefs, behaviors and situations that hinder the expression of your true self, using your own strengths to support your growth and development. Every healing journey is unique- and all individuals have their own gifts to access. I am committed to exploring these through an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens.
As a neurodiversity affirming therapist, I have a strong commitment to working with disabled folk and their families. I offer guidance and support for people managing and understanding their own challenges in emotionally negotiating the larger systems at play that create barriers to their well being.
I understand the process of therapy requires courage and a leap of faith. I deeply honor and appreciate the trust people extend when they reach out for support, and am committed to honoring that trust to the best of my abilities. My highest concern in our initial conversation would be to assess together whether I would be a good fit for your needs.
