Are you struggling to have a healthy relationship with yourself or with others? Does it often feel like happiness comes more easily to other people than it does to you? Or that somewhere along the way, you stumbled or lost your way, and are fighting to find it again? Let me assure you that you deserve and are capable of joy and growth. My work has shown me that happiness does not mean feeling "good" all the time, but rather being strong enough to tolerate all that life throws at us. Maybe you have been thrown an awful lot.
I work with you to hone in on your strengths, and to recognize and own the things that have been working against you. Whether you struggle with an eating disorder, relationships, addiction, social anxiety, or depression, there is hope in your willingness to go "down the rabbit hole" with me.
I will encourage you to connect the dots in your life and forge a new path towards the future. We will work on concrete skills in addition to exploring how you arrived in my office in the first place. It takes courage to seize an outstretched hand. Seize it today.

Eating Disorder and Trauma Recovery Support Group
In my experience as a therapist, eating disorders often go hand in hand with a history of trauma. Trauma stretches from parental neglect or abandonment, to physical violence, to abusive relationships, and includes a range of distressing life experiences. This group will provide a safe and supportive environment for members to explore connections between past experiences and present destructive behaviors, with the goal of developing healthier coping strategies. The group dynamic is a very powerful way to do this work because we are able to feed off of one another's experiences. This group will be time-unlimited and ongoing.
