I am incredibly passionate about increasing the awareness and understanding of Infant Mental Health (Google it, it’s a thing!) and Perinatal Mental Health. Pregnancy, parenting, and all things related can be scary, exciting, and everything in between. And guess what…infants do more than eat, sleep, and poop, and are greatly impacted by their environments. Parents and caregivers deserve to be emotionally well, and there are many factors that can make this difficult, including one’s own history of being parented.
I have experience working with attachment disorders, depression, anxiety, perinatal and postpartum related challenges (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders), and trauma with a women’s empowerment approach. A personal belief is people have the answers to their own questions and solutions to their problems, they just need a safe space and time to process.
It takes vulnerability and bravery to reach out for help. I’m honored when individuals allow me to support them in their own journey of personal growth. I aim to create an emotionally safe space for my clients to share and process thoughts and feelings.
