While this idea sounds somewhat simple, putting the past behind us; especially a traumatic one, can be easier said than done. In my work with individuals, I embrace a philosophy that helps people explore their past experiences in order to better understand their present day ones. Additionally, because I believe God to be the source of all things; healing and hope included, I will utilize a faith-based approach in session if desired by prospective clients.
I am an EMDR Certified Therapist; EMDR is a therapy model focused on resolution of trauma. I am Compassion Fatigue Certified as well.
