Mental health maintenance is essential to overall well-being. Whether you're struggling with feelings of hopelessness, excessive worry, or adjusting to loss, from time to time we all need to address the challenges life throws at us. Sometimes, we can cope with those challenges in ways that have worked in the past without any problems. There is power in each person to overcome most things. I can help you find your way through those challenges.
I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Informed-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in my practice.
I have spent my career in the mental health field treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and providing guidance to people adjusting to life after the loss of loved ones. I am a therapist who knows that you are the expert on yourself. You drive the therapeutic process. My practice is focused on respect for the dignity and worth of each individual.
