Do you ever feel stuck in some way? Or like the same difficult things seem to repeatedly crop up? Although there is no “how to” book for life (wouldn't that be nice!), I believe there are strengths inside all of us that we can rely on to navigate difficult feelings, events, and relationships. I am here to help you uncover your strengths, get “unstuck,” and find more balance in your life.
I am trained in various therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Behavior Therapy. I have a special interests in treatment of trauma, managing life changes, self-esteem, depression, ADHD, parenting and family issues, and childhood behavior disorders.
The decision to start therapy can be a difficult one. To me, it is like standing at the edge of the pool waiting to jump in because you’re worried about how cold the water will be. Some people cautiously dip their toe in the water, while others do a cannon ball. However you decide to approach therapy, I look forward to meeting you right where you are.
