You are in the right place.I began working in community health with a school based mental health program working with children, adolescents, and families. I then branched out and became Director of Social Services in an inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health hospital.
The experiences I had allowed me to work more with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, family problems, relationship problems, divorce, anger management, and life changes.
I enjoy using a variety of techniques and therapies including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, client-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, along with a strengths based psychodynamic approach to meet clients where they are.
