The method that I have found to be most beneficial, both personally and professionally, is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping.
EFT is tapping with the fingertips on specific acupuncture points. While tapping on these points, the client will focus on a specific issue, a negative thought, or a traumatic event, and voice their feelings about the issue and eventually progress to positive affirmations.
I have witnessed extraordinary results with my clients by combining traditional talk therapy with alternative modalities. I believe in the mind/body connection. EFT tapping helps to activate the body's self healing mechanisms. A person heals best when he or she is relaxed.
